Employees of Vector Control Operators would have to be licensed as Vector Control Technicians or Vector Control Workers to conduct any vector control activity.

What documents do I need before I submit my application online?
The following documents are required:
i. NRIC/Employment Pass/Work Permit/S-Pass/Dependent pass (minimum 18 years old) (also required for renewal). For Employment Pass/Work Permit/S-Pass/Dependent pass holders, please submit the QR code details in the stipulated format using the new SGWorkPass app. More information on the QR code details and the new SGWorkPass app is available at MOM's website.
ii. A recent digital coloured passport size photo (with white background) (also required for renewal)
iii. Highest Educational Qualification Certification (minimum 4 'N' Level passes or equivalent)
iv. Completed the Joint ITE - NEA Certificate in Pest Management.

What are the payment modes for this certificate?
Payment can be made via the following channels:
i. PayPal (Credit card and PayPal wallet) in the GoBusiness Licensing Portal
ii. AXS kiosks
iii. e-Stations
iv. m-Stations -
When can I make payment?
Payment can be made after the application has been approved. -
How soon can my application be processed?
Please be informed that due to technical issues and high volume of applications received, a slightly longer processing time may be expected during this period. We seek your understanding and patience during this challenging period, as we work to improve our system services. -
How can I receive my certificate of registration for Vector Control Operator?
The electronic Vector Control Technician will be emailed to you. There shall be no responsibility on the part of NEA should there be any loss/damage of the certificate of registration in the transition. -
What should I do if my computer hangs while I am making payment?
If your computer hangs before reaching the acknowledgement page, your payment is considered unsuccessful. You may verify that is no deduction was made from your Bank Account through Internet Banking. Thereafter, proceed to make payment again. -
What documents/requirements do I need for a Provisional Vector Control Technician (VCT) Licence?
Applicants may apply for a Provisional VCT licence to perform vector control work while undergoing training at the ITE-NEA Pest Management (for Vector Control Technicians) course. The licence is valid for 9 months which provides sufficient time to complete the training. It may be renewed once, only if there is a valid Provisional VCT licence with supporting documentation to show that he or she has enrolled or, is attending the joint ITE-NEA Pest Management course.
The following documents are required:
i. NRIC/ Employment Pass/Work Permit/S-Pass/Dependent pass (minimum 18 years old). ii. A recent coloured passport size photo(with white background)
iii. Highest Educational Qualification Certification (minimum 4 'N' Level passes or equivalent)
Applicants may apply for a Full Vector Control Technician Licence upon completing the ITE-NEA Pest Management (for Vector Control Technicians) course. - What if I have to replace my licence?
Please send the following items:
i. Letter stating the reason for replacement. If you have lost your licence, it is recommended to make a police report.
ii. Copy of NRIC/Employment Pass/Work Permit/S-Pass/Dependent pass. For Employment Pass/Work Permit/S-Pass/Dependent pass holders, please submit the QR code details in the stipulated format using the new SGWorkPass app. More information on the QR code details and the new SGWorkPass app is available at MOM's website.
iii. A recent digital coloured passport size photo (with white background).
A replacement fee of $20 will be required upon approval.
