1. Do I need to apply for this licence?
   Yes, if you have changed your company name with ACRA.
2. What conditions do I need to fulfill?
   (a) No change in business registration number (i.e. no change in RCB No)
   (b) No change in business setup (i.e. no change in partners or shareholders or their respective shareholdings).
3. What supporting documents do I need to submit?
   Up-to-date business registration record from ACRA showing the new name.
4. How soon can my application be processed?
   Within 1 business day (in 24 hours).
5. How much does this licence cost and how long is it valid?
   No administrative fee is payable.

7. What is the application process like?
   Procedures
   - Complete an online update form by clicking on the words "UPDATE OF COMPANY NAME" below
   - Attach latest business registration record from Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) by scanned document or digital image in pdf or jpg format.
   Payment
   - No payment is required
8. What if there is a change in Partners?
   A change in partners will result in a change in business setup. Hence, for such cases, you should submit an Application for Tenancy Change using the Online Business Licensing Service (OBLS) portal.
9. What if we are a private limited company since the commencement of tenancy with HDB and there is a change in shareholders?
   A private limited company is a legal entity by itself. A change in shareholders should not result in a change in business setup. Hence, you can use the Update Form however, please notify HDB if there is a change to the existing guarantor.
